Spanish business ready to work in Georgia: Georgian PM

Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri has attended a business forum in Spain. Gilauri familiarized the Spanish businessmen with Georgia's investment environment and prospects of its development.

"Some investors expressed a desire to open their representative offices in Georgia. We will be supported by the free trade agreements and agreement on visa programs," Gilauri said.

Gilauri mentioned that the Spanish businessmen intend to open their offices in Tbilisi, which will generally cover the entire region, up to the Ukraine.

The minister answered the questions of the Spanish businessmen concerning the act of economic freedom, which recently has been initiated by the Georgian government, and issues related to tourism development.

According to the Spanish businessmen, there are already concrete proposals that they intend to voice after the Georgia visit.
