The Azerbaijani Tax Ministry registered a British Northern Offshore subsidiary in October.
Northern Offshore is the subsidiary's founder. The organization registered commercial activities Oct. 23. British citizen Smith Murray is a company representative.
Northern Offshore was established in July 2000 and reorganized in its current form June 2, 2005 after electing a new board of directors. The company manages five drilling modules in southeast Asia and Europe and a floating drilling rig presently based in the UK.
