The consumer price index in Azerbaijan fell by 1.16 percent in October, Economic Research Center NGO reported.
The consumer prices increased by 2.15 percent in Baku and 0.2 percent in regions in October. Nonfood prices increased by 0.26 percent, food prices - 4.91 percent, and service prices - 0.18 percent during the month.
There was 0.7 percent deflation within 10 months. Nonfoods fell by 3.27 percent, foodstuffs fell by 3.22 percent and services fell by 9.63 percent for this period
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the inflation rate in the country made up 2.1 percent in January to September.
