Concentrated coal production in Iran from March to October reached about 700,000 tons.
The Mehr News Agency quoted Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) stating that 1.1 million tons of coal was excavated during this period.
355,000 tons of the concentrated coal was produced by Kerman Coal Mines Company, 191,000 tons by Eastern Alborz Coal Mines Company, 47,000 tons by Central Alborz Coal Company and 104 tons by other firms.
The amount of coal excavated by each company include 501,000 tons by Kerman Coal Mines Company, 371,000 tons by Eastern Alborz Coal Mines Company, 77,000 tons by Central Alborz Coal Company and 160,000 tons by other companies.
