The representative of Russia to the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB) and current vice-president of the bank Andrei Kondakov will take the office of president of BSTDB from 2010, the Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan said. The decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Directors, held on Nov. 21-22 in the city of Thessaloniki in Greece.
"As a result of the meeting, it was decided to give Azerbaijan an opportunity to nominate for senior executive structures of the bank from 2010," the report.
The meeting also decided that the right to nominate another candidate for president of the bank during 2014-2018 shifts to Turkey.
Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by the finance minister Samir Sharifov.
