Presently 108 wagons of Lifan cars (Chinese production) are being assembled at a new automobile plant in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
"Assembly has been already begun. 161 more wagons are expected to be assembled in the near future," the company said.
The plant's production capacity is 4,000-5,000 cars per year. The cars cost from $8,000 to $14,000. The plant sees Turkey and Iran as potential export markets.
