The 6th International Energy Exhibition (ENEX 2010) of Iran kicked off in the Kish Island on Monday.
Some 260 domestic companies and 40 foreign firms from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, India, Romania, Austria, South Korea, Denmark, England, Japan and France are taking part in the 4-day event, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network reported.
The number of participants shows a 30 percent increase in comparison to the previous edition of the exhibition, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The exhibition aims at showcasing the latest achievements in the fields of oil, gas, petrochemical, water resources and electricity.
