The Azerbaijani-British business forum will be held in Mansion House of London in March 8, 2010, the Azerbaijani International Bank (IBAR) reported. The forum will support the development of trade and investments between the countries
The sides will introduce reports in the meeting to be presided over by Lord Howell
The forum, which is organized by the Middle East Association, will be a result of two major high-level missions over the past two years. The Association and the IBAR established Azerbaijani British Business Council, which has been functioning since September 2009
Lord Howell and IBAR Chairman of Board Jahangir Gajiyev were elected the first co-chairmen of the British Council
The Council aims to increase business cooperation between the UK and Azerbaijan, and to deepen trade and investment between the two countries. This council will cooperate closely with the International Bank and the Association for Middle East cooperation based in the UK. The association is one of the oldest and most influential business associations in the United Kingdom and unites 400 companies, representing all branches of industry, trade and finance
