Turkmenbashi construct new runway in airport

A Turkish multiple-discipline Polimex company has already performed half of work done on the runway construction in the new international airport in Turkmenbashi city, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper said  

The company is using special techniques installed in this object including concrete-placing rail car, which increases airfield tape meter by meter. Its length will be more than 3500 meters and width, together with the so-called "buffer zones" established on both sides of the runway to improve safety airliners - 60 meters

Polimex implements the project worth 125 million euro. Repayment will be done by public budget. Capacity of the object in an hour - up to six aircraft and 800 passengers, the port will accept aircraft with a takeoff weight up to 400 tons 

French Thales Company will implement completion of the radar equipment, and German Siemens Company will supply lighting equipment and electronic communication means. Future staff passed special trainings in France and Germany

The project envisages filling out from a centralized filling station, and jet fuel will be supplied by pipeline from the nearest refinery. Polimex will construct aviation and technical base to service the new generation of ships in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

The new terminal is necessary to optimize the flow of foreign tourists in the resort Avaz area on the Caspian Sea. The multibillion foreign exchange funds were invested in the construction of tourist complex in the area, declared a free economic zone. The government is promising a simplified visa regime
