Monetary aggregates extends by 1.5 percent

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) money supply (M2) and fund balance in national currency on accounts of non-financial organizations, financial (excluding credit organizations) and individuals increased by 10.6 percent in December 2009, and in 1.5 percent in 2009.

In late 2009, M2 hit 6.169.2 million manat as compared to 5.575.6 million manat as of Dec.1, 2009 and 6.081million manat as of Jan.1, 2009

Cash money supply M0 hit 4.174.8 million manat late 2009, compared to 3.805.7 million manat as of Dec.1, 4.145.7 million manat as of Jan.1, 2009.

Broad Money Supply M3 hit 8.469.2 million manat late 2009 compared to 7.904.9 million manat as of Dec.1 and 8.494.2 million manat as of Jan.1, 2009.

In 2009, transaction money M1 comprised 5.239.8 million manat compared to 4706.6 million manat as of Dec.1 and 5.145 million manat as of Jan.1 2009
