Supported by Azerbaijan National Employers Confederation (ASK), territorial associations will be established in Azerbaijan in 2010, the head of the Confederation Mammad Musayev said to a regular meeting of the board of ASK.
'Their aim is to develop country's regions, said Musayev. In addition, foreign economic relations of the Confederation will be strengthened and its activities to organize seminars and trainings for entrepreneurs will be expanded."
Today, the Confederation brings together 4,000 entrepreneurs, including some 50 economic and social associations and unions. As noted at the meeting, the Confederation is also devising two draft laws - on Social Partners and on Employers.
According to Musayev, regular training for entrepreneurs will be held in June in cooperation with German experts, which envisages not only training, but also assistance in finding partners abroad and stimulating export growth.
"The Confederation established cooperation with the Association of Entrepreneurs of Russia and also negotiates with the Georgian, Iranian and Turkish associations," said Musayev.
According to him, strengthening cooperation with similar organizations will contribute to the growth of exports of Azerbaijan and provide the necessary support to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
Today the Confederation also actively works with entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan, accepts proposals for improving the tax system, which later will be discussed with the Ministry of Taxes of the country.
The agenda of the meeting also included discussing a report on the results of the Confederation's activities in 2009, the plan for 2010, acceptance of new members, selecting auditor for audit of ASK.
