Baku Metro can use additional carriages in case of necessity on weekends and during Novruz holiday, Baku Metro head engineer Elbrus Muradov said today.
"If there is a necessity as a result of increasing number of passengers during the holiday we will use additional carriages," Muradov said.
He said increase of passenger traffic is not expected because nine days most state agencies and educational institutions will not work. "In any case we will use additional carriages," Muradov stressed.
Baku Metro operates since 1967 and has 22 stations.
