Azerbaijan bans sale of expired confectionery Bəhrə

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has imposed a ban on sale of food products (cakes and biscuits) trademark Bəhrə, produced at the Unikal plant, the ministry reported.

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has imposed a ban on sale of food products (cakes and biscuits) trademark Bəhrə, produced at the Unikal plant, the ministry reported.

The ministry banned sale of products because of expiry date exceeding the period specified in the regulations, the report said.

The state service already destroyed 7.6 tons of expired cakes and biscuits produced by the Unikal company.

The State Service continues to control activities in this direction.
