Tehran hosts 7th IranPlast

The 7th issue of IranPlast kicked off at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds on Tuesday.

The Iranian Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi and the National Petrochemical Company's Managing Director Abdol-Hossein Bayat attended the opening ceremony.

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network some 423 domestic and 257 foreign companies from 22 countries such as Germany, Italy, Turkey, Spain, France, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Canada, England, Japan, and Sweden have taken part in the event. 

The exhibition aims at showcasing the latest achievements in the petrochemical industry.

IranPlast is the most important exhibition in the field of petrochemical products and industries and one of the biggest and most important ones in the Asia, especially in the Middle East and Persian Gulf region.

The event will close on June 26.
