President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on July 9 signed a decree on increasing the salaries, pensions, stipends and social allowances. The decree was published in the electronic mass media.
According to the document, from August 1, wages of employees of budgetary institutions and organizations, all types of pensions and social allowances and stipends was increased by an average of 1.2 times.
The minimum wage will amount to 45,215 soums per month, the initial (zero) grade on the single tariff scale - 45,215 soums per month, age pension - 88,845 soums, allowances to disabled from childhood - 88,845 soums, the benefits to elderly and disabled citizens without the required work experience - 54,265 soums per month.
