The 57th session of Damascus International Fair opened on Wednesday with 18 Iranian companies participating.
Home appliances and furniture, carpets, jewelry and gold, plumbing supplies, kitchenware, electric and electronic equipment, Iranian handicraft and automotive parts are fields Iranian firms have taken part in.
Some 4,300 firms from 45 countries are in the 9-day show held in Damascus Fairground.
Damascus International Fair is the biggest annual trade event which comes to show the up-to-date international industries and display different products of world renowned companies.
The event is a colorful gathering of exhibitors, businessmen, investors, visitors and officials from all over the world.
This year is the second time that direct selling is allowed at the fair.
