In January-June Georgia transported 11.8 million tons by vehicles compared to 11.7 million tons in January-June last year, the Georgian government said.
According to the report, during this period railway transported 9.6 million tons compared to 7.7 million tons in January-June last year.
About 21,4 million tons were transported by vehicles and railway compared to 19.4 million tons in the first half of last year.
Last year, the railway transported 17.1 million tons of cargo, road transport - 28,2 million tons and air -12.200 of tons of cargo.
About 45,3 million tons were transported by Georgia in 2009 compared to 49 million tons in 2008.
