Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov instructed his government to develop a bill on establishing special economic zones today.
The document will focus on accelerating the integrated development of natural resources and the efficient use of labor resources.
The Economy and Development Ministry was tasked to develop and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers in the near future.
Berdimuhammedov said that the bill should be consistent with the Turkmen State Program on Socioeconomic Development from 2011-2030.
