Azerbaijani insurance company to expand range of services

Azerbaijani Insurance Company Ateshgah will introduce new property insurance-related products, as well as insurance of children from accidents, Ateshgah Company Board chairman Azer Aliyev told Trend.

Azerbaijani Insurance Company Ateshgah will introduce new property insurance-related products, as well as insurance of children from accidents, Ateshgah Company Board chairman Azer Aliyev told Trend.

"We constantly are working to develop new products. In the near future we will introduce several new products to the public. These are products related to insurance of both movable and immovable property, as well as insurance of children from accidents," he said.

By late 2010 Ateshgah plans to bring the amount of insurance fees to 14 million manat.

Aliyev said in the near future we plan to open four representative offices in the country's regions.

"The Company has already opened six offices in the country's regions and four branches in Baku. We plan to open four more [in the regions of the country]," Aliyev said.

According to him, resumption of car loans by banks had a positive impact on enhancing the company's portfolio on car insurance.

Ateshgah was founded in 1996. The authorized capital is 2.7 million manat. Shareholders are ISR Holding Ltd, SOCAR and the RAN-Eksim company.

Aug.25, official exchange rate is 0.8039 manat to $1.
