Some $8.19 million worth of goods have been exported from Aras Free Trade Zone in the first five months of the Iranian calendar year (starting March 21).
Aras Free Trade Zone's exports have risen over 3,445 percent in value compared to the same period last year.
The Exports are aimed at countries such as Azerbaijan, Germany, Armenia, Turkey, Russia, Iraq, Georgia and Nakhjavan.
The exports of goods manufactured in the FTZ had increased 45 percent in dollar value during this period.
Some $97.9 million worth of goods have also been imported to Aras FTZ in the mentioned period, down by 17 percent compared to last year's approximate figure of $119.3 million.
