The French bank Societe Generale is interested in financing projects in private sector in Azerbaijan, the Societe Generale regional representative Teyba Guliyeva said today.
"Today we are sufficiently interested in private companies' projects and it is one of the directions of our activity for next year," Guliyeva said.
According to her, the bank has already received an appeal from the private sector, and some of the submitted projects are interesting for the bank.
"We seek to rightly approach to private companies' needs, find out whether we can offer funding or services, in which they will be interested," she said.
According to Guliyeva, the projects cover various sectors and are under an early stage of consideration. The submitted projects cover mainly industrial sector. The amount of funding of these projects ranges from about 50 to 300 million euros.
