Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry to conclude new agreements with Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia

Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdymuhammedov signed a decree ordering the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry to conclude new agreements with Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia, the official Turkmen source said.

The decree deals with holding a joint international exhibition in Ashgabat by Turkish company Meridyen Ulyslararasi Fuarcilik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. and Iranian company Mashad International Exhibition company in 2011. The two countries are major trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan. Turkey imports electricity from the country, while natural gas and electricity are imported from Iran.

Hereby, the staff of the appropriate institutional committee has been approved.

The Turkmen president also ordered to hold an exhibition of products made in Turkmenistan together with relevant ministries and sector agencies on Jan. 17-21, 2011 in the Iranian city of Mashhad.

A similar event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is scheduled for March 28-30, 2011.

According to the presidential decree, the staff of the organizing committee and a list of ministries, sector agencies and organizations that will participate in these activities has been approved.
