Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.22 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
An additional 150 million lari ($ 1 = 1.74 lari) will be allocated from the state budget to develop the country's agricultural sector upon Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's initiative.
As Presidential Spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze said on Tuesday at a traditional briefing, the funds will be used to fund the creation of logistics centers and warehouses.
"The president believes that everything should be done so that the problems caused by the price hike are minimized in order to facilitate the development of the agricultural sphere," Manjgaladze said.
