Azerbaijan will hold an auction of diamonds weighing 1,785.57 carats in late March, the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues reported.
The diamonds were confiscated and are the property of the state. The auction will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 29.
The party has been put up for sale at a starting price of 114,276 manat. Those wishing to participate in the auction must pay a 10 percent down payment. All of the necessary documents and deposits must be submitted to the committee three days before the auction.
