The directions for future cooperation and the current relations between Azerbaijan and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) were discussed by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and BSTDB president Andrei Kondakov in Baku, the ministry said.
Presenting the detailed information on the activities of the bank, Kondakov expressed satisfaction with participation in projects implemented in Azerbaijan. The bank financed 14 projects in Azerbaijan.
"One of the major challenges facing the BSTDB is to expand activities in Azerbaijan and finance new and interesting projects," he said.
Finance Minister said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with international financial institutions, including the BSTDB.
The bank's strategy for Azerbaijan, which will cover 2011-14, was also discussed.
