National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support expands list of its authorized agents

The Observation Council of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES), which is part of the Economic Development Ministry, has approved NFES agent membership request applications from three credit unions, NFES Executive Director Shirzad Abdullayev reported on Friday.
"The new agents three credit unions - the Fizuli-based Komek, Hojavend-based Terekeme, and Beilagan-based Ashixli. Thus, the number of credit unions-NFES authorized agents has reached seven whereas the total number of NFES agents has increased to 39," Abdullayev said.
These credits unions will specialize in issuing credits in villages and places where bank branches are not active.
"Komek has already assigned credits to entrepreneurs inNardaran at the sidelines of a credit fair held in Baku on Friday," he said.

At the moment, NFES authorized credit organizations are 31 banks, one non-bank organization, and seven credit unions.
