A joint meeting of shareholders and a supervisory board of the National Depository Center (NDC) decided to form a management and supervisory board of the NDC, the center reported.
"Given the introduction of advanced systems of corporate governance in the NDC, the meeting made important decisions. Thus a decision was made to form a management and supervisory board to ensure the strengthening of the administrative hierarchy of the NDC," the report reads.
Participants elected Bkahtiyar Azizov as the Supervisory Board Chairman, Kamran Babayev as the Legal Department Head and Emin Muradov as the Research and Market Development Department Head.
Fariz Azizov was appointed as the Management Board Chairman, Agshin Jahangirov as First Deputy Chairman, Fuad Sadigov as Vice-Chairman of the Management Board, and Elchin Velizade as the internal auditor of the company.
The NDC held a series of measures to improve corporate governance of its structures in accordance with the previously adopted Development Strategy for 2010-2012.
