Iran remains China's third oil supplier

Iran remains China's third crude oil supplier in April with 20.4 percent increase in oil export to China, SHANA reported.

China increased crude oil import in April by 1.7 percent compared to last year oil import to 5.27 million barrels per day.

Iran became third, with imports from the country growing by 20.4 percent to 511,000 barrels per day.

Saudi Arabia remained China's top supplier with its shipments jumping by 24.3 percent over the year to 939,000 barrels per day, followed by Angola with 654,000 barrels per day, down by 37.6 percent.

Kuwait 's crude oil exports to China surged 33.3 percent in April from the previous month to 970,000 tons, or roughly 237,000 barrels per day.

Iran has OPEC's second-highest oil output, and ranks second in the world in terms of natural gas reserves after Russia.
