Iran and China agreed to cooperate on cloud seeding, research plans and equipment purchases, ILNA reported quoting Water Research Institute Mohammad Head Riyahi as saying
China with a half century-long experience on cloud seeding agreed to implement joint projects with Iran, he added.
The Iranian delegation reviewed cloud seeding device including cloud seeding rockets and equipment for measuring atmospheric parameters in Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences (CAMS).
According to Chinese experts, cloud seeding increased rainfall from 16 to 20 percent to produce cheap water.
