The Azerbaijan Bank Training Center (ABTC), under the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), will hold a banking conference in Baku on the topic of "New Tendencies in Banking in the Post-Crisis " with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the ABA said on Tuesday.
The conference is scheduled for June 22. Its main goal is to discuss ways to effectively organize banking in the post-crisis period by utilizing the best international practices.
The conference is aimed at guiding bank institutions' supervisory board, board of directors and audit committee.
In addition, preparation is underway to hold another conference by the ABTC and USAID on the topic of "Risk Management in Banks in the Post-Crisis Period". The conference is scheduled for Oct.19.
