The Azerbaijani transport and customs authorities are studying introducing e-goods declaration forms, TRACECA National Secretary from Azerbaijan Akif Mustafayev said on Friday.
The goods declaration system cover the whole territory of Azerbaijan, in particular, will affect goods traffic within TRACECA corridor.
Mustafayev said introducing electronic goods declaration system in Azerbaijan will be realized within the State Program "Electronic Government".
This system is used for a long time in Western countries, and envisages providing information to customs checkpoints, about the goods, their nomenclature and volumes, thereby reducing the time required for passage of goods at the borders, he said.
