The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry's organizations and units began restoring the road facilities damaged by heavy rains in April-June this year, "Azeryolservis" company of the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry said.
According to the information, main and local roads, about 40 bridges and water drainage systems have been damaged to the amount of about 21 million manat during this period.
The damage caused by heavy rains covered 17 Azerbaijani regions - Dashkesan, Goygol, Goranboy, Gusar, Fizuli, Gobustan, Beylagan, Oguz, Sheki, Gakh, Guba, Gabala, Shamakhi, Samukh, Ismayilli, Gadabay, Balaken. The greatest damage was caused to the road infrastructure in Ismayilli (about 10 million manat), Beylagan (more than 3 million manat) and Dashkesan (more than 2 million manat).
