Iran Azerbaijan, Baku, July 26 /Trend/

The Central Bank of Iran's latest data indicates that the country's inflation rate from May 22 to June 21 was 15.4 percent, Central Bank of Iran Governor Mahmoud Bahmani was quoted as saying.

"According to the latest statistics issued by CBI, Iran's inflation rate was 15.4 percent," he said.

The parliament has objected to the CBI approach for not announcing the inflation rate but we have issued the inflation rate each month, he added.

He noted the CBI supports parliament decision to appoint Statistical Center of Iran data as new source information for inflation rate but is ready to announce inflation rate again if needed.

The Statistical Center issued report on country's inflation rate from April 21 to May20 was 16.7 percent, however the center has not issued its report of inflation rate from May 22 to June 21 yet.
