Georgian NGOs receive grant of $250,000

G-PAC will fund five coalition projects of Georgia's five leading non-governmental organizations as a part of the UN "Partnership for Change" grant program.

The projects stipulate the following: an improved and more affordable health insurance, accounting standards, responsiveness to the UN Standards in the implementation of major infrastructure projects, raising awareness of the population, determining autism at an early stage, and improving security in schools.

More than 40 projects were submitted to the competition. The Commission, which included representatives of donor organizations, has identified five winners. The winners are the Association of Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery, Institute for Civil Development, Safe Environment, Green Alternative, and the Association "Green Wave".
