Georgia's foreign trade turnover exceeds $4.8 billion in Jan.-July

According to the preliminary data, Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to $4.832 billion in January-July 2011, the Georgian Statistics Office said.

The exports amounted to $1.186 billion and imports - $3.645 billion.

Georgia's negative trade balance was $2.458 billion. The Georgian Statistics Office will publish the revised figures on August 24.
