Iran 's Economy Minister Shamsoddin Hosseini met with his Iraqi counterpart during the World Bank meeting in New York to discuss boosting bilateral economic corporation, Mehr News Agency reported.
Iran and Iraq discussed investment and custom issues aimed to boosting trade turnover and economic cooperation.
Hosseini urged the two sides to develop insurance cooperation.
The Iran-Iraq trade turnover reached $4 billion in 2010 and the two countries are keen to increase this figure to $10 billion until 2012.
