Sweden and Uzbekistan are interested in developing business cooperation

Leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan discussed the promising areas of cooperation with the delegation of Swedish business circles headed by the Executive Director of the International Council of Swedish Industry (NIR) Erika Molin, the press service of Foreign Ministry reported.

Earlier, the Swedish delegation held talks about the prospects of trade-economic and investment cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the "Uzinfoinvest" agency, "Uzbekenergo" State Joint-Stock Company, Chamber of Commerce of the Republic.

Swedish side was provided with information about the investment climate of the country, privileges and preferences granted to foreign investors, including those operating in Uzbekistan in the Free Economic Zone (FIEZ) "Navoi".

During the meeting the parties confirmed the interest in the development of mutually beneficial relations in the long term.
