The number of registered business entities in Georgia has increased by 21.7 percent to 5,238 in September, compared to the same period in 2010.
According to the Georgian Justice Ministry's Public Registry, 98.2 percent of them are entrepreneurial entities, and 1.8 percent are non-entrepreneurial entities. During the reporting period, the monthly registration index hit 1.197 (December 2010 = 100).
In September, compared to the previous month, the number of registered entrepreneurial entities increased by 14.3 percent, and non-entrepreneurial grew by 8 .0 percent.
