In April-September, the population's deposits in the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) totaled 128 million manat, the Bank reported on Monday.
According to information, today the amount of deposits in the Bank reaches $1.125 billion.
The IBA's assets increased by 8 percent and hit 495.1 billion manat for the first six months of 2011. The loan portfolio amounted to 315.3 billion manat, or about 39 percent of the credit market. The total amount of physical entities' funds exceeded 810 million manat. The number of active cards of the clients of the bank is more than 1.8 million units, or more than 40 percent of the country's card market. More than 600 ATMs and 3,613 POS-terminals were installed.
IBA holds a dominant position in the banking sector. The share state in charter capital of the bank is 50.2 percent, and the remaining shares are distributed among private businesses and individuals.
