Fly Dubai will begin to operate on the Georgian market. Representatives of the UAE national and federal council held a news conference at the Tbilisi Marriott hotel on Friday in this regard.
The airline company will carry out flights on the Tbilisi-Dubai route with low ticket prices on Boeing 737-800s. Regular flights will begin on Nov. 5 and be made on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The cost of a roundtrip ticket will be $270.
Authorized distributor of flydubai in Georgia will be the Dubai Company.
Head of the Dubai Company Marie Chirinashvili said passengers of Fly Dubai will be able to obtain additional services.
"The opening of direct flight is a good opportunity to cheapen flights to United Arab Emirates and Central Asian countries for Georgian citizens. We hope to increase the number of those wishing to visit Georgia," Chirinashvili said.
"Fly Dubay" is a subsidiary of "Emirate Airline", which operates flights to 45 countries.
