The Latvian Baltikums Līzings leasing company has opened an office in Baku due to increasing business activity in Azerbaijan, head of the representative office Grigorjevs Mihails told Trend on Friday.
"As the relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia successfully develop, the business activities of our customers in the country increases," he said. "We decided that we should follow our customers to provide them with the required services."
He added that today the company actively explores the Azerbaijani market.
"Leasing has become more popular in Azerbaijan," he said. "We look forward to growing this market segment in the future."
He stresed that Baltikums Līzings will provide its customers in Azerbaijan with such services as asset management, trust operations, asset insurance and other financial services.
