Kazakhstan and Ukraine signed an agreement to establish the Association of Kazakh-Ukrainian businessmen, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Astana told Trend on Thursday.
The agreement was signed within the business forum held during Ukrainian Prime Minister's official visit Nikolai Azarov.
"Taking into account the urgency and necessity of expanding and strengthening mutually beneficial relations, a number of leading companies in our country reached an agreement to establish the International Association of Kazakh-Ukrainian businessmen," the embassy said. "This was made on the initiative of the Ukrainian Embassy in Kazakhstan."
The association's activity will focus on promoting entrepreneurship.
