One of the largest industrial enterprises of Turkmenistan, the cotton spinning factory in Turkmenabat, situated in the regional centre of the Lebap region, increased the export of products to Europe, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
The factory uses state-of-the-art technology and compared to the corresponding period of 2010, production growth rates hit 118 per cent. The enterprise produces four kinds of yarn that meets international standards.
The factory was commissioned in 2009. The enterprise in the Amu Darya city stretches for 11 hectares and is unique in Central Asia. It is designed to produce 17,700 tons of products per year.
