Kazakhstan will remain among the fastest growing economies in the world with GDP growth at 7 percent in the next five years, the head of the center of fast-growing markets of British auditing company Ernst & Young Alexey Karklin-Marche said, Novosti Kazakhstan reported.
"Kazakhstan is becoming more and more important player in the world market, and we believe that the country has real growth potential," Karklin-Marche said at an economic forum "20 Years of Independence and New Challenges" on Thursday.
We expect Kazakhstan to remain among the top three countries, according to economic grows in 2011-2015."
According to Karklin - Marshe, economic growth in Kazakhstan will be promoted by natural resources. Meanwhile, it is necessary to develop infrastructure, tourism and culture.
"Diversifying economy is the first step that should be done. I know that you're doing it," Karklin - Marshe said.
