Money transfer volume to Georgia increased

The volume of money transfer to Georgia amounted to $91.1 million in November 2011 or $ 7.3 million, or 8.7 percent more than during the same period of last year.

The Georgian National Bank told Trend that about 90.8 percent of total volume of money transfer fall to 10 major donor countries. The money transfer hit more than $1 million. About 90.2 percent fell to these ten donor countries in November 2010.

The largest amount of money transfer was obtained from Russia - $42.5 million, Greece - $6.4 million, Italy - $ 5.9 million.

Georgia transferred $ 7.5 million (12.5 million lari) abroad in November instead of $8.0 million for the same period of last year.
