Uzbekistan and Tajikistan signed a contract to supply natural gas to Tajikistan in 2012 on Thursday, a source in Uzbek government told Trend.
The contract, signed in Tashkent during Tajik governmental delegation's visit envisages supply of 240 million cubic meters of natural gas from Uzbekistan in 2012.
The source did not disclose terms of the contract and sale price of gas.
As the online media reported, Uzbekistan stopped natural gas supplies to Tajikistan on Jan. 4 due to lack of a contract for 2012.
According to the source, from today Uzbekistan resumed gas supplies to Tajikistan.
