Kazakhstan will turn into a giant construction site creating dozens of new jobs, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said during his annual Parliamentary address to the people on Friday.
Mr Nazarbayev has instructed the government and parliament to review the budget and borrow funds on loans from the National Fund to allocate the necessary resources for new projects.
"I consider it more correct than storing our money in Western banks. Let's invest that money in our own economy," Mr Nazarbayev said.
According to him, new projects will totally change the look of Kazakhstan and will be the state's response to the approaching world crisis.
