Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia has not exceeded $1.4 million over the recent years and it should be increased, Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee on Economy Giorgi Meladze said before the meeting with delegation of Kyrgyz parliament on Feb. 7, 24.kg reported.
"The index is very low. Thus, it is necessary to establish closer contacts and strengthen cooperation in all areas of the economy. To do this we should organize such bilateral visits at various levels more frequently," Meladze said.
According to Meladze, export and import between the two countries is almost at the same level.
