Azerbaijani-Georgian-Turkish business forum to expand opportunities

Azerbaijan has invested $800 million in Georgia over the past five years, Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev said at a news briefing in Tbilisi at the Azerbaijani-Georgian-Turkish business forum on Thursday.

"Azerbaijani businessmen have created 272 companies in Georgia over this time. In turn, these companies have created more than 7,000 work places," Mustafayev said.

He said Azerbaijan attaches great importance to regional cooperation.

"We work on a number of major projects together to improve the lives of our people." Mustafayev said.

Mustafayev expressed satisfaction with the forum in Tbilisi, noting that it is another step toward deepening economic cooperation in the region.

Over 3500 businessmen from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have participated in the forum.
