Azerbaijan will host the next meeting within the Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish economic cooperation in August, Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan said in Tbilisi on Thursday.
Economy ministers of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey held a joint briefing on the results of the closed meeting and participation in the Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish Business Forum in the Georgian capital.
As Mr Caglayan said, the three countries' economy ministers chose this format for closer cooperation.
"We intend to deepen our economic relations, as our region faces serious challenges," he stressed.
According to Caglayan, there is great respect for women in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and therefore, the right to host the first meeting was given to Georgian Minister Vera Kobalia.
The next meeting will be held in Turkey in May.
Caglayan expressed satisfaction both with the level of economic cooperation between the three countries and progress of implementation of investment projects.
"Many of our businessmen function in Georgia and Azerbaijan, and it is very important that our countries are parties to the joint large-scale energy and infrastructure projects," he stressed.
The Business Forum in Tbilisi was attended by over 100 businessmen of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.
